SURPRISE Release - Drink Your Peas with Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT
For those of you who’ve been inside the taproom recently, you may have tried our very unique beer, Drink Your Peas. We decided to can this beer, but this is not just any can. Scott teamed up with his childhood friends Ross Cohen and Evan Hecht - both very active in the NFT community - to license a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT on this label. If you’re not familiar with the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), it’s a collection of 10,000 NFTs that acts as both an avatar and a ticket to an online social club. In fact, celebrities such as Jimmy Fallon, DJ Khaled, Steph Curry and Post Malone all own a Bored Ape NFT and use it as their profile photo on social media.
Ross and Evan agreed to license Bored Ape #3500 exclusively to Alternate Ending. We then turned to our amazing graphic designer John Turner of BoyBurnsBarn to weave the Bored Ape NFT into its own unique and amazing can design that was inspired by raw street art.
Today we are releasing a LIMITED number of 4-packs to the public. In addition to beer cans, there will be limited-edition hand-numbered posters featuring the Bored Ape NFT, as well as a select number of beer glasses with the Bored Ape NFT sometime around Christmas.

This beer is a first of its kind in America: it’s a Grissette made with malted peas provided by our friends at @3brdistillery. Already a romantic style from old-world Belgium, this delicate farmhouse beer is usually light and dry, but the malted peas balanced out that dryness with a touch of sweetness.
