Thanksgiving Release
We have a very special release for your Thanksgiving celebration! Starting with our annual Rauchbier, You Got Smoked, because what pairs better with Turkey, stuffing and all that yummy Thanksgiving food than a smoked lager?! Of course we know not everyone is into Rauchbier, so we brewed our next iteration of Chuckle Heads using Zappa and Nelson hops, which gives this beer notes of passion fruit with a little dankness to back it up. But wait, there is more! If you like a tart blueberry pie for dessert, you must try Stella Blue, our Blueberry Saison that was bottle conditioned with Brettanomyces. And finally, introducing Sava Elevations, our favorite local sweet-tooth friends that baked delicious brown sugar cookies made with You Got Smoked and topped with smoked bourbon sugar! Cold Smoke/Crisp/Caramel Malt
Now that you've had the barrel-aged version of You Got Smoked, it’s time to bring back the base beer. Two weeks of primary fermentation followed by 6 weeks in the horizontal lagering tank, and you have a lovely Rauchbier with just the right amount of smoke and roast. But if you prefer a danker type of smoke, look no further than our dear Chuckle Heads, and our next iteration of our two-hop series using a NZ hop that we have never used before, Moutere, combined with Citra.

Snoochie boochies! Chuckle Heads 11 is here with Zappa and Nelson! Zappa, named after the great Frank Zappa is a 100% neomexicanus aroma hop that came from the mountains of New Mexico. With notes of passionfruit, mint, spice, tropical fruits, and fruity pebbles this hop pairs so nicely with Nelson, a juicy gem as described by @crosby with intense flavors of earthy white wine, passion fruit, lychee, mango and more!

Brown Sugar Smoked Lager Cookies
These delicious brown sugar cookies were made with our You Got Smoked Racuhbier and topped with smoked bourbon sugar - a perfect treat for Thanksgiving week! They were handmade by our local friends at Sava Elevations - check out their Insta to see all the other amazing goodies they have! Two cookies per pack, and if you don’t want to share, that’s fine by us!

As many of you know, the real life Dude designed our brewing system along with Boy Wonder at Specific Mechanical to allow us to do decoction brewing, which is so rare these days. We are able to move our grain from kettle to mash tun and back, boiling ⅓ of the grain to capture additional flavor, color and aroma. It’s a time-consuming process but well worth it as this spectacular beer accentuates a toastiness that wouldn't be found without it. The Mittelfrüh & Tradition hops provide floral notes with a soft bitterness in this extremely delicate Pilsner. The dude abides.

Flagship Pale Ale 5%
Tropical/Fruit Cocktail
We are excited to can and release Why Not?!, our flagship pale ale, for the very first time. We designed this beer to be the little sister to What If? We wanted a juicy pale ale that was absolutely crushable coming in at 5%, but still has a great mouthfeel and packs a nice hop punch. We combined Pac Sun (our favorite hop) with El Dorado to create this tropical fruit cup hop character that is the perfect everyday pale ale.

Everyday go-to IPA 7.5%
What If we brewed an everyday hazy IPA that you just knew was your “go-to” beer? Mr. Reliable in a can! What If it was also clean and balanced? We’ve been contemplating what our flagship IPA recipe should taste like since the time Alternate Ending was nothing more than an idea on the back of a napkin. We knew we wanted something that was crushable, yet also remain true to a traditional IPA with notes of pine and citrus. What If, What If? was really YOUR favorite Alternate Ending? It might even end up on this can in the future. Drink, pontificate, and discuss...

What happens when you take an already beautiful beer, and replace the malt with organic malt, the yeast with organic yeast, the horizontal stainless steel tank with a horizontal oak foeder, and condition it with Krausen? You get a really, really special beer; Willy’s Gold. Even better, our can design pays homage to the oldest brewery in the world while also embracing Willy himself! Big shoutout to @lisahanley and @boyburnsbarn for making this label come to life.

Ordering closes this Friday 11/25 at 12pm. Any remaining cans will be released to the taproom. Can pickup will now be during regular business hours at the bar. Please order ONLY if you can pick up by Sunday 12/4, otherwise your cans will be released back to AE.
